77-year-old woman taken to hospital after getting hit by car at McNair Road

A 77-year-old woman was taken to hospital after she was hit by a car along McNair Road on Wednesday (July 28).

A Stomper alerted Stomp to the incident and shared a photo of Traffic Police at the scene at about 5pm.

"There was a pool of blood on the ground," he said.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident in front of Block 109 at 3.49pm.

"The 77-year-old female pedestrian was conscious when conveyed to the hospital," a police spokesman said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
