77-year-old motorcyclist taken to hospital after accident with taxi at Jurong junction

An elderly motorcyclist was taken to hospital after an accident with a taxi in Jurong on Friday morning (June 26).

The police told Stomp that they were alerted to an accident involving a taxi and a motorcycle at the junction of Jurong Town Hall Road and Boon Lay Way at 7.03am.

"The motorcyclist, a 77-year-old man, was conscious when conveyed to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital," said a police spokesman.

A photo submitted by Stomper Freddie shows a motorcycle and a ComfortDelGro taxi at the collision scene.

Police are investigating the incident.
