72-year-old passenger taken to hospital after accident involving two buses in Bedok North

A 72-year-old man was taken to hospital after an accident between two buses took place in Bedok North on Monday morning (July 29).

Stomper Thomas was walking towards Bedok Central on Monday when he witnessed the accident that occurred along Bedok North Avenue 3.

He shared photos with Stomp of the accident and said: "The front windscreen of the silver bus was shattered, along with the windows at the back of bus 168."

In response to a Stomp query, the police said: "On July 29 at 11.05am, the police were alerted to an accident involving two buses along Bedok North Avenue 3 towards New Upper Changi Road.

"A 72-year-old male bus passenger was conscious when conveyed to Changi General Hospital.

"Police investigations are ongoing."
