71-year-old man dies in Compassvale Drive flat on New Year's Eve, police investigating

A 71-year-old man died in a flat at Block 201C Compassvale Drive on New Year's Eve (Dec 31).

Stomp understands that he died of natural causes.

The police told Stomp in response to queries that they were alerted at 4.29pm to the case, whereby the elderly man had passed away in the unit.

Stomper Anonymous submitted photos showing police officers at the scene and said they were still there at around 7pm.

Stomper Kyle also shared a video showing the body being loaded onto a police van.

Police investigations are ongoing.
