A 69-year-old pedestrian was taken to hospital after getting hit by a van while crossing the road in Marsiling on Friday morning (Jan 22).
In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident along Marsiling Drive towards Admiralty Road at 9.42am.
A video posted on Facebook shows the pedestrian crossing the road. By the time he notices the oncoming van and tries to avoid it, it is too late.
The van driver can be seen exiting the vehicle to check on the man after the collision.
The pedestrian was conscious when taken to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.
Police investigations are ongoing.
