65-year-old man taken to hospital after tipper truck crashes into tree along TPE

A 65-year-old man was taken to hospital after a tipper truck crashed into a tree along the Tampines Expressway (TPE) towards Seletar Expressway (SLE) on Apr 28.

A Stomper alerted Stomp to footage of the accident that was posted on SG Road Vigilante's YouTube channel.

In the video, the truck veers to the right and mounts the central divider before crashing head-on into the tree.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at 9.36am.

A 65-year-old man was conscious when conveyed to hospital," a police spokesman said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
