A 65-year-old man was left injured after an accident involving his motorcycle and a taxi along Macpherson Road last Sunday night (Oct 7).

Responding to queries by Stomp, the police said they were alerted to the accident, which occurred in the direction of Bendemeer Road, at 11.11pm.

The motorcyclist was unconscious when taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

Stomp understands that the taxi had been making a right turn while the motorcycle was going straight when they collided.

Stomper Siew Ling, the victim's daughter, said her family is appealing for witnesses and video footage of the accident.

She told Stomp that her father had been on the way home when the accident took place.

"He sustained multiple fractures to the right leg and is currently heavily sedated due to severe impact to the head," added the Stomper.

Siew Ling also alerted Stomp to an appeal that her brother posted on Facebook.
