60-year-old motorcyclist unconscious after Tampines accident with lorry, driver arrested

A 60-year-old motorcyclist was left unconscious after an accident with a lorry in Tampines on Saturday afternoon (July 3).

The police were alerted to the accident along Tampines Street 83 at 12.35pm, they told Stomp in response to queries.

They added: "The 60-year-old male motorcyclist was unconscious when conveyed to the hospital.

"The 53-year-old male driver was arrested for careless driving causing grievous hurt."

Photos posted on Facebook show the motorcyclist lying on the road as paramedics attended to him before being taken away on a stretcher.

Police investigations are ongoing.
