60-year-old man arrested for molesting male stranger along Bedok North Street 3

A 60-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday (Oct 28) for allegedly molesting another man along Bedok North Street 3.

The police received a report about the incident on October 23.

Through follow-up investigations and with the aid of images from the police cameras, officers from Bedok Police Division established the suspect's identity and arrested him.

The man will be charged in court with outrage of modesty on Friday (Oct 30).

If convicted for the offence of outrage of modesty, he faces an imprisonment term of up to five years and/or a fine and/or caning.
