6 people taken to hospital after accident involving lorry and car at Sembawang Way junction

A lorry driver, a car driver, and their four passengers were taken to hospital after their vehicles were involved in an accident at the junction of Sembawang Way and Woodlands Avenue 10 in the early hours of Tuesday morning (Jan 24).

Stomper Aida alerted Stomp to the incident and shared a video she took as her husband was driving by at about 2.33am.

The front of a blue car appears to be badly damaged and debris is seen scattered on the road.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at 1.45am.

"A 38-year-old male lorry driver and his three passengers, aged 33 to 40, and a 41-year-old male car driver and his 34-year-old female passenger, were conveyed conscious to the hospital," a police spokesman said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
