59-year-old woman found dead in Toa Payoh home

A 59-year-old woman was found dead in her flat at Block 52 Lorong 6 Toa Payoh on Sunday afternoon (Mar 15).

A Stomper, who resides at the same block, shared photos showing police officers at the scene.

He told Stomp: "I called the police at around 1.46pm. I heard people saying that the woman had fallen down in her home."

Responding to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the unnatural death at 1.43pm.

The woman was found lying motionless in a unit at the said location and was pronounced dead at scene by a paramedic.

Police investigations are ongoing.
