A 56-year-old male pedestrian has succumbed to his injuries after a car crashed into him along Ophir Road towards the East Coast Parkway (ECP) on Oct 27.
In a video posted by ROADS.sg on Facebook, footage from an in-car camera shows a BMW car crashing into a man standing behind another BMW car.
In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to an accident involving a car and a pedestrian at 12.18am.
"A 56-year-old male pedestrian was unconscious when conveyed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital, where he later died from his injuries," added the police spokesman.
"The 48-year-old male driver was arrested for drink-driving and careless driving causing death."
Police investigations are ongoing.
