Police investigations are ongoing.

Facebook user Derrick Ng posted an appeal seeking for witnesses to the fatal accident that "resulted in the tragic passing of our beloved mother and five-year-old daughter".

"Any form of contribution that could render assistance to the investigation would be greatly appreciated," he said on Sunday (Mar 29).

Ng's post has been shared over 15,000 times to date.

He also paid tribute to his mother Judy and his daughter Aerith in separate posts.

"Those that knew her will remember her beautiful smile, pure heart, and caring nature. She is a true giver and always put others above herself," said Ng about his mother.

On his daughter, Ng said: "Aerith had always been a bubbly girl, full of energy, friendly, generous, big hearted, well loved by her family, friends, teachers and everyone who knew her.

"Although our time with her did not last as long as we'd like, we are thankful that you gave us the opportunity to be your parents.

"Darling, I know for sure that you are in a beautiful place now with no worries and that is the only assurance and thought that will keep Papa and Mama going.

"We'll miss waking you up in the morning, seeing you run back from school, your unlimited hugs and kisses, your 'awws' upon seeing any animals, how you say hello to everyone you meet and so much more.

"Our final instructions to you now are simple: have fun, do and eat whatever you like and please come to us whenever you wish to.

Always remember that we love you so so so much. If you'd wish to, we will want to be your Papa and Mama again, in this life or the next. 爸爸妈妈真的好爱你哦~! ('Daddy and mummy really love you very much')"
