5 women nabbed in enforcement operations against massage establishments

Five women were arrested during enforcement operations against massage establishments along Upper Thomson Road, Macpherson Road and Upper Paya Lebar Road last Monday (Oct 5).

During the operation conducted by Tanglin Police Division, four women, aged between 26 and 46, were arrested for offences under the Women’s Charter.

A 29-year-old woman was arrested for offences under the Remote Gambling Act.

Five premises were also found to be operating without a valid massage establishment license.

Police are investigating the matter, and said they will continue to take tough enforcement action against unlicensed and errant massage establishments.
