Five youths, aged between 16 and 18, were arrested for hiding themselves in Ikea Tampines and staying on after closing hours.
The police said in a news release that they were alerted to a case of trespassing at 60 Tampines North Drive 2 on Sunday (Mar 31) at about 12.52am.
Officers from Bedok Police Division subsequently located the youths and arrested them.
Police investigations are ongoing.
If convicted, the teens can be fined up to $1,000 each.
The police also reminded the public that anyone who wilfully trespasses without a satisfactory excuse will be investigated.
