46-year-old woman found dead at Toa Payoh block on Christmas Day

A woman was found dead at Block 225 Lorong 8 Toa Payoh on Christmas Day (Dec 25).

The police were alerted to the case of unnatural death on Sunday, at around 7.24pm.

They told Stomp in response to queries: "A 46-year-old woman was found lying motionless and was pronounced dead at the scene by a Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) paramedic.

"Based on preliminary investigations, the police do not suspect foul play."

Stomper Wei Sien, who shared a video of the scene, said: "I saw a police tent and investigators there. I felt very sad and would like to say condolences to the woman's family. Stay strong."

Police investigations are ongoing.
