44-year-old man arrested for allegedly molesting woman on bus

A 44-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday (Oct 28) for allegedly molesting a woman on a bus.

The police said they received a report about the incident on September 24.

Through ground enquiries and with the aid of images from the police cameras, officers from Jurong Police Division established the man's identity and arrested him.

The offence of outrage of modesty carries a jail term which may extend to two years, or a fine, or caning, or any combination of such punishments.
