35-year-old man arrested for slashing 2 strangers at Commonwealth Drive

A 35-year-old man was arrested for allegedly slashing two men with a knife at Block 50, Commonwealth Drive on Sunday afternoon (Nov 19).

According to Shin Min Daily News, there was a trail of blood that measured over 20 metres from a lift to a vehicle drop-off point.

In response to media queries by Stomp, the police said they were alerted to a case of voluntarily causing hurt by a dangerous weapon at 2.52pm at the block.

Two men, aged 50 and 66, were conscious when sent to National University Hospital. They sustained cuts on their faces and necks.

Police investigations are ongoing.
