A 35-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday (Nov 9) for allegedly molesting a woman at Marsiling MRT station.
The police said they were alerted to the case of outrage of modesty on October 17, at about 8.35am.
Through follow-up investigations and with the aid of images from CCTVs, officers from Woodlands Police Division established the man's identity and arrested him.
The man will be charged in court on Friday with outrage of modesty, which carries a jail term of up to three years and/or a fine and/or caning.
The police said they have zero tolerance towards sexual offenders who threaten the safety of the community.
They added: "Offenders will be dealt with sternly in accordance with the law."
