34-year-old man arrested for appearing naked in front of woman at Sims Place

A 34-year-old man has been arrested for his suspected involvement in a case of sexual exposure at Sims Place.

The police said in a statement that they received a call for assistance on Aug 25 at about 2.10pm when a man had allegedly exposed himself to a female victim by appearing naked in front of her.

Officers from Bedok Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him on Tueday (Sep 1).

He will be charged in court on Wednesday (Sep 2) with the offence of sexual exposure, punishable under the Protection from Harassment Act.

If convicted, he faces up to one year's jail, a fine, or both.
