30-year-old rider taken to hospital after accident with car at Tampines junction

A 30-year-old male rider was taken to hospital after he was involved in an accident with a car at the junction of Tampines Avenue 1 and Tampines Street 92 on Wednesday evening (May 15).

Stomper A alerted Stomp to the incident and shared photos taken at the scene near SAFRA Tampines.

In the photos, the front of the front-left part of the car is badly damaged and the motorcycle is seen lying on the road.

Paramedics are seen tending to a person lying on the ground.

In response to a Stomp media query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at 8.16pm.

The motorcyclist, a 30-year-old man, was conscious when taken to Changi General Hospital, a spokesman said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
