3 women who allegedly provided sexual services arrested

Three women, aged between 21 and 15, were arrested for their suspected involvement in vice-related activities, on May 14.

The Central Police Division conducted an anti-vice operation along Middle Road, which resulted in the three women being arrested for offences under the Women's Charter. 

Preliminary investigations revealed that these women were on social visit passes and had made use of their stays here to allegedly provide sexual services, operating from hotels. 

Investigations against the women are ongoing. 

Any person who knowingly lives wholly or in part on the earnings of the prostitution of another person may be jailed up to five years and fined up to $10,000 upon conviction. 

Anyone found assisting in vice activities will be dealt with severely in accordance with the law.
