3 men taken to hospital after car and taxi collide at Queensway junction

Three men were taken to hospital after a taxi and car collided at the junction of Commonwealth Avenue and Queensway on Wednesday morning (Feb 12).

A Stomper alerted Stomp to the incident and shared a video he took as he was passing by the scene.

In the video, a fire engine and ambulance are parked near the vehicles involved in the accident.

Paramedics are seen surrounding someone on the road.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at 6.20am.

"The 49-year-old male car driver, the 59-year-old male taxi driver and the 45-year-old male taxi passenger were conscious when conveyed to National University Hospital," a police spokesman said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
