3 taken to hospital after accident involving taxi and 2 cars in Hougang

Three people were taken to hospital after an accident involving a taxi and two cars occurred along Hougang Avenue 7 on Friday morning (May 3).

Responding to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident, which took place in the direction of Tampines Road, at 10.11am.

The taxi driver and two passengers from one of the cars, aged between 30 and 58, were conscious when conveyed to Sengkang General Hospital.

Photos and videos submitted by Stompers show an overturned black car at the scene.

The railing of the central road divider was also damaged.

Police investigations are ongoing.
