3 taken to hospital after accident involving 2 bikes outside Golden Mile Complex

Two motorcyclists and a pillion rider were taken to a hospital after an accident involving two motorcycles took place outside Golden Mile Complex at about 7.45pm last Thursday (Sep 6). 

Stomper Weixiang was passing by on an overhead bridge when he saw the incident. 

In a photo taken by Weixiang, a man can be seen sitting on the ground.

Weixiang said: "I saw an ambulance but I didn't see how the accident happen."

In response to a Stomp query, the police said: "On Sep 6, 2018, at 8.46pm, the police were alerted to an accident involving two motorcycles along Beach Road towards Crawford Street.

"Three people, aged between 44 and 61, were conscious when conveyed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

"Police investigations are ongoing."

Stomp understands that two of those conveyed to the hospital were from one motorcycle, as well as one more person who was the pillion rider of the other motorcycle.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) told Stomp they were alerted to the accident along the main road outside Golden Mile Complex at about 8.45pm.

"Three people were conveyed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital," said the SCDF.
