28-year-old motorcyclist taken to hospital after accident with car in Hougang

A 28-year-old man was taken to hospital after an accident involving his motorcycle and a car in Hougang on Wednesday afternoon (Apr 19).

Stomper Steven shared photos and a video showing the motorcyclist lying on the road, next to a white car, while paramedics attended to him.

The car appeared to have its front bumper dislodged.

In one picture, passers-by including some students can be seen trying to help and sheltering the man with an umbrella.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident along Hougang Avenue 10, near to the carpark entrance of Block 804, at around 2.31pm.

The motorcyclist was conscious when taken to hospital.
