A total of 25 women, aged between 21 and 36, were arrested during a series of enforcement operations against public entertainment outlets on Sep 19 and 20.
The operations, which took place along Jalan Sultan and North Bridge Road, found three outlets that have contravened licensing conditions.
Out of the 25 women who were arrested, two of them were also arrested for immigration-related offences.
Under the Public Entertainment Act, actions will be taken against the operators for flouting the rules and regulations.
In a statement issued on Thursday (Sep 20), the police said they take a serious view of anyone found breaking the law and will continue to take tough enforcement stance against such activities.
