24-year-old man arrested for allegedly molesting 49-year-old woman in Woodlands

A 24-year-old man was arrested for allegedly molesting a 49-year-old woman at Woodlands Drive 16 last Thursday (Aug 19).

The police received a report about the incident at around 6.45pm.

Through extensive ground enquiries and with the aid of police cameras, officers from Woodlands Police Division arrested the man within two hours of the report.

The man was charged in court on Saturday (Aug 21) with outrage of modesty, carries an imprisonment term of up two years, a fine, caning or a combination of such punishments.
