23-year-old rider taken to hospital after accident at Hougang Avenue 8

A 23-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital after an accident along Hougang Avenue 8 towards Hougang Avenue 7.

Stomper LX alerted Stomp to the accident and shared photos taken at the scene near Block 610 at about 9.20pm.

"I believe he is a delivery rider," the Stomper said.

"Thank goodness he was conscious."

In the photos, the rider is being carried onto a stretcher by paramedics.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at 9.07pm.

"The motorcyclist, a 23-year-old man, was conveyed conscious to Tan Tock Seng Hospital," a police spokesman said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
