2 taken to hospital after tow truck and mobile crane in accident along ECP

Two men were taken to hospital after an accident involving a tow truck and a mobile crane along the East Coast Parkway (ECP) on Thursday morning (Feb 4).

Stomper C shared a video of the accident scene taken at around 10.30am.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to an accident involving a tow truck and a mobile crane it was towing along the ECP, towards Changi Airport and before the Fort Road exit, at 9.18am.

"The 52-year-old male tow truck driver and the 43-year-old male tow truck passenger were conscious when conveyed to Changi General Hospital," they added.

Police investigations are ongoing.
