2 taken to hospital after accident at Harbourfront Avenue

Two drivers, aged 37 and 50, were taken to hospital after they were involved in an accident involving two cars at the junction of Harbourfront Avenue and Telok Blangah Road on Monday morning (Sep 2).

Facebook user Francis Seah posted a photo taken at the scene that was shared by one of his group members in the Taxiuncle Facebook group.

The front of a silver car was badly damaged in the collision.

One netizen commented that the accident caused a huge jam.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at about 7.50am.

"The drivers, a 37-year-old man and a 50-year-old man, were conveyed conscious to Singapore General Hospital," a police spokesman said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
