Two men were taken to hospital after an accident involving a red lorry and a white lorry at the junction of Newton Road and Thomson Road on Monday (Sep 14).

Stomper Rachel alerted Stomp to the accident and sent photos of what happened.

In one of the photos, a panel from the red lorry seems to have fallen off.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at 12.36pm.

"Two male passengers from one of the lorries, aged 25 and 33, were conscious when conveyed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital," a police spokesman said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
