2 men arrested for allegedly breaking into Pasir Ris clinic, stealing $432 worth of cough syrup

Two men, aged 28 and 29, were charged in court on Tuesday (Nov 29) for allegedly breaking into a clinic and stealing 35 bottles of cough syrup.

The Police advised all property owners to adopt the following crime prevention measures:

  • Secure all doors, windows and other openings with good quality grilles and closedshackle padlocks when leaving your premises unattended, even for a short while; and

  • Install a burglar alarm, motion sensor light and/or CCTVs, to cover the access points into your premises. Ensure that they are tested periodically and in good working condition.
