2 men arrested after fight at Tekka Centre

Two men, aged 31 and 34, were arrested after they were involved in a fight at Tekka Centre on Tuesday night (May 3).

Stomper Wei Sien shared with Stomp videos he took at the scene.

In the clips, several police officers are at the food centre.

They are seen talking to a man in a yellow T-shirt before apprehending him and escorting him to a police car where another man in a black T-shirt is also in handcuffs.

"I witnessed police officers arresting the men but I did not witness the fight," said the Stomper.

"I heard from some of the hawkers that the men were involved in a fight just before I took these videos at the scene."

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to a fight at 665 Buffalo Road.

"Two men, aged 31 and 34, were arrested for their suspected involvement in the case of affray," a police spokesman said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
