2 kittens found dead at foot of Yishun HDB block: Authorities investigating

Two kittens were found dead at the foot of Block 671A Yishun Avenue 4 on Apr 16.

Stomper Nur alerted Stomp to the incident and shared photos of the incident.

In one of the photos, police and National Parks Board officers are at the scene.

"Two small kittens fell to their death on Apr 16 and were found by a nearby resident," she said.

"The kittens were estimated to be two months old.

"One of the kittens was still alive after falling, and crawled in pain towards its dead sibling before dying also."

Facebook page Yishun Cat Patrol is appealing for witnesses. According to their post regarding the matter, the cats were allegedly thrown down from a unit at the block.

In response to a Stomp query, The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals' (SPCA) executive director Dr Jaipal Singh Gill said: "It was heartbreaking to hear of the tragic loss of these two young lives.

"We understand the authorities are currently investigating.

"We urge any witnesses to step forward so that the facts can be established and justice can be served."
