2 aunties taken to hospital after getting hit by van near Lau Pa Sat

Two women were taken to hospital after an accident with a van near Lau Pa Sat hawker centre on Friday afternoon (Sep 25).

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to an accident involving a van and two pedestrians at the junction of Cross Street and Robinson Road at 2.04pm.

The two female pedestrians, aged 53 and 54, were conscious when conveyed to Singapore General Hospital.

Stomper Hidayat, who was at the scene, shared a video showing paramedics lifting one of the woman onto a stretcher.

He said: "The two women were crossing the zebra crossing and got knocked down by the van."

Police investigations are ongoing.
