A 19-year-old man who allegedly assaulted two victims in separate cases has been arrested and will be charged with voluntarily causing grievous hurt.
The police said they received two separate reports on Nov 3 and Nov 6, from two victims who were allegedly assaulted separately by an unknown man along Bedok North Street 4 on Nov 3.
Through ground enquiries and with the aid of images from police cameras, officers from Bedok Police Division established the man's identity and arrested him on Nov 6.
The man will be charged in court on Monday (Nov 9) with voluntarily causing grievous hurt. The offence carries an imprisonment term which may extend to 10 years, and a fine or caning.
The police also said they have zero tolerance towards such acts of violence, and will not hesitate to take action against those who blatantly disregard the law.
