17 taken to hospital after accident between lorry and police van at Jurong Port Road

Seventeen men were taken to hospital after an accident involving a police van and a lorry at the junction of Jalan Buroh and Jurong Port Road on Friday night (May 7).
The injured men included five police officers, a male lorry driver and eleven lorry passengers.
A Stomper alerted Stomp to a video posted on Facebook showing the accident scene where several paramedics are seen attending to the injured.
Accident between Lorry and police van along Jurong port road on may 7 at about 9:02pm, 5 police officers and 12 passengers injuries after the accident.

In response to a Stomp query the police said they were alerted to the accident at 9.02pm.
The seventeen men were conscious when taken to hospital, a police spokesman said.
"The 17 men, aged 20 to 44, all sustained minor injuries."
Police investigations are ongoing.
