11 suspected drug offenders arrested at Jalan Bukit Merah during CNB operation

Eleven suspects, aged between 20 and 56, were arrested during an anti-drug operation in the vicinity of Block 106 Jalan Bukit Merah on Oct 9.

Stomper Joey, a resident in the area, witnessed the arrest at around 8.30pm and took a video.

She told Stomp on Oct 31: "They were suspected to be selling magic mushrooms to people as young as 15 years old.

"I am only sharing this now because I have been busy working and it's my off day."

In response to a Stomp query, the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) confirmed that it conducted the operation and arrested a total of 11 suspected drug offenders.

"Investigations on all the suspected drug offenders are ongoing," said a CNB spokesperson.
