11 arrested in enforcement operation: 10 women allegedly provided sexual services at massage establishment

Eleven women, aged between 27 and 44, were arrested in an enforcement operation carried out by the police against massage establishments along South Bridge Road on Oct 10.

In the operation conducted by the Central Police Division, one unlicensed massage establishment was detected, the police said in a statement.

The eleven women were arrested for offences under the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act and the Women's Charter.

Stomp understands that ten of the women allegedly provided sexual services and one woman was operating the establishment.

The police said actions will be taken against the operators for flouting the rules and regulations under the Massage Establishment Act. 

"The police will continue to take tough enforcement action against criminal activities and those found engaging in such activities will be dealt with in accordance with the law," it said.
