A 28-year-old man was injured in an accident involving three motorcycles on the PIE today (Jul 21) at around 10am.

Stomper Nasrul came across the aftermath of what happened and alerted Stomp to what he witnessed.

A video he sent shows the victim lying on the road beside the taxi. Paramedics were at the scene rendering assistance.

There were several stationary vehicles by the road divider in the middle of the expressway and traffic was rather heavy as a result of what happened.

The Stomper is unclear what led to the accident.

Said a police spokesman in response to a Stomp query:

"On 21 July 2017 at 9.55am, the police were alerted to an accident involving three motorcycles along PIE towards Changi Airport.

"A 28-year-old male motorcyclist was conscious when conveyed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH).

"Police investigations are ongoing."
