What Andy Lau's wife did after finding out he had kept his serious spinal injury from her

Despite sustaining serious spinal fractures, 55-year-old Hong Kong superstar Andy Lau insisted on keeping his injury a secret so as not to worry his wife, 50-year-old Carol Chu. 

The star was allegedly thrown off a horse during a shoot gone awry in a town not far from Bangkok, Thailand on Monday (Jan 16). 

When Carol found out about his injuries,  she immediately took a flight to Thailand to look after him.

Andy Lau was transferred to a hospital in Hong Kong via air ambulance on Wednesday (Jan 18) night, reports Apple Daily via AsiaOne.
