Rottweiler kills woman's unleashed designer dog on China street as she wails in anguish

A young woman was walking her Zuchon puppy in Ganzhou, Jiangxi province last week when a leashed Rottweiler rushed over and chomped down hard on the canine's neck.

The dog, known to be of a hybrid breed and designer species, was killed in 10 seconds while its anguished owner watched and wailed in horror, reported Shanghaiist.

The woman asked the owner of the Rottweiler to take them to the vet, but he refused and blamed her for not keeping her Zuchon on a leash.

He was also heard saying, "Call the police! Go ahead!"

He later wrote on Weibo that his Rottweiler had initially been tied to a tree, but the Zuchon kept coming over to bother it, even after three warnings.

The Rottweiler owner reportedly then messaged the woman that he could give her several thousand yuan.

"Do you want it or not? If you don't, then just forget about it," he wrote.

Netizens have been in a heated debate over who is at fault, though some feel that both parties should take the blame as "the small dog didn't have a leash and the big dog didn't have a muzzle."
