Nope, the blue part of this popular eraser was NOT designed to get rid of ink

You've probably come across or used the iconic blue and red eraser at some point of your lives.

Most of us have the impression that the red part was meant to erase pencil marks while the harder and rougher blue part was to get rid of ink.

Well, the red side of the eraser was for pencil marks, but according to Wittyfeed, the blue side was not actually designed for erasing mistakes made with pens.

The website has provided us with the original intention of the blue side of the eraser when it was first manufactured.
