M'sian MP who said it is ok for rapists to marry victims flees interview after reporter's savage question

Malaysian Member of Parliament (MP) Datuk Shabudin Yahya has been faced with massive public backlash for allegedly supporting the notion of rape victims marrying their rapists.

As if that was not bad enough, he reportedly went on to say: "They reach puberty at the age of 9 or 12 and at that time, the physical state of their body is already akin to those of 18 years of age."

Not surprisingly, Shabudin instantly got slammed by both netizens and some other ministers, reports World Of Buzz.

With so much to explain, the Tasek Gelugor MP attended a press conference recently.

After he was done with it, reporters from various media outlets were already waiting outside the room to bombard him with questions.

One journalist went full savage and asked: "Datuk, you ada anak perempuan tak?"

Which, loosely translated, means, "Datuk, do you have any daughters?"

Upon hearing that, Shabudin appears to stop entertaining all the reporters and flee the scene.

Malaysiakini hilariously got this all on video.

Meanwhile, the MP has issued a statement that his comments were taken out of context.
