Chinese motorcyclist stops rush hour traffic -- to save tiny kitten on road

A Hong Kong man became the talk of the town after a video went viral last week showing him saving a tiny kitten from the middle of a busy road.

In the dashcam footage uploaded onto Facebook last week (Apr 27), the off-duty firefighter can be seen stopping rush-hour traffic and picking up a tiny kitten on the road before running back to his motorcycle parked by the roadside.

The incident happened on the Lion Rock Tunnel Road towards Kowloon, reported the Shanghaiist

The man, Kevin Kwok, later uploaded photos of the kitten onto his Facebook page, asking if anyone wanted to adopt the adorable kitten.

Kwok said that he was on his motorcycle when he noticed something small moving on the road. He kept going, thinking it would be too dangerous to stop, but his conscience soon caught up to him.

His post has since been shared more than 5,000 times.

A few hours after his initial post, he posted an update saying that he had found the kitten a loving family. In the photo he uploaded, he can be seen handing over the kitten to its new owner.
