Best dad ever? Man uses pram with toddler to hold train doors open in China

We are only five days into the new year, and 2017 has already thrown us a contender for 'worst father of the year'.

A viral video shared on Shanghaiist shows a train station in Nanning, China.

Commuters can be seen rushing into the train, which is about to pull away.

A man pushing a toddler in a pram rushes down the escalator and towards the train.

As the train doors close, he pushes the pram in, using it to prevent the doors from closing.

He manages to shove the pram in to force the doors to open.

After squeezing inside, however, the man is seen getting scolded by other commuters and station staff for his irresponsible actions.
