Driver recklessly drives over chevron marking along KPE to avoid traffic

Stomper Dexter was driving along the Kallang–Paya Lebar Expressway when a car crossed over a chevron marking to filter into his lane yesterday evening (Mar 6).

According to Dexter the driver had performed this manoeuvre to avoid a traffic jam.

Driving over chevron road markings is a traffic offence.

"The driver of a red Redault with licence plate SJG2010C avoided a traffic jam by driving across a chevron marking.

"I have submitted this video to the Traffic Police as well," said the Stomper
