Stomper Anonymous feels that whether it is okay or not boils down to the trust and maturity level of the couple.

This is his entry for September's What Say You topic, 'Is it okay for your spouse to go out alone with a member of the opposite sex?'

To be honest, I would say that it all boils down to the trust and maturity level of the couple.

I've seen wide ranges of relationship problems from girls getting angry with a guy just for liking another girls pictures on social media platforms and to girls being okay with their SO hugging other close girl friends.

I have married friends that encounter these problems and I do not blame them.

However personally, I wouldn't have any qualms if my special other goes out with a guy and I'm sure she would feel the same way. This would stay true so Long as we have trust in each other and know that the Friendship with the person we are going out is pure and has zero sexual intentions.

At the end of the day I'm pretty sure people of different genders can be good friends too.
