Kwek feels that it is hard for a man and a woman to be just friends since opposites are wired to attract after all.
This is his entry for this month's What Say You topic:
"Personally, my take on this would be a no. It's is because opposite sexes do still attract after all.
"When a man and a woman gets so close and comfortable with each other that they had became best of friends, it is very natural that one of them might start to have some good feelings about the other, seeing that they would have understood the other party quite well already.
"Another reason would be that people would mostly turn to their best friend in vulnerable times like when they are feeling down and sad or heartbroken after a relationship failure.
"They might feel for their best friend instead after multiple times of their best friend being there for them when they need it the most.
"Also, their other halves (soul mate) would also have to have the mutual trust in them for their friendship to sustain."
